Oh.My.God. I think I found the best soak off gel on earth!
In my beloved Japense nail-art magazines I had seen some products from a brand named "Le Chat", and after some google-research, I decided to give the "Le Chat Nobility Perfect Match" a try. Perfect Match is a set of 1 soak off gel polish and 1 nail polish in the exact same shade. Very easy for matching your mani-pedi, but also to retouch the gel polish!
The shade I'm wearing is "Jack Rose", a very bright coral. I don't know what's up with me lately, but I just keep going back to bright colours. Maybe I'm suffering from a little winterblues...
The gel applies like a normal nailpolish, but you have to cure it in a UV lamp. It's the smoothest gel I've tried until now! Seriously, smooth as butter! And the best of all: No Shrinking at the free edge! Yaaaay! And it's incredibly thin! This is my new holy grail, I need more colours of these!
The pics were taken after 4 days of wearing, and as you can see: Still flawless!Love it..
I can't believe I haven't done any Christmas nail-art yet! Good I'm still on time to come up with something;) Have a good weekend everyone!
yay, awesome shade, love it on you! I'm curious to try out gels :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderen@Daria: Thanks!Try this one;) You do need quite a few tools if you want to do it yourself. Maybe a salon? XO!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHmm... I think I'll need to reach to some nice nail tech...in Netherlands... Her name starts with an A.... ;)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHahahah!Anytime honey;)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm glad someone has reviewed this product!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI had this applied (a darker colour, 'Marilyn Merlot') two weeks ago and it hasn't chipped and still looks fabulous!
Unfortunately it is growing out... I am travelling and far away from my usual nail salon and am hoping you can help me out! Do I need to use the Le Chat soak off remover to get rid of it?
I know I can find a salon that does UV nails but maybe not using Le Chat or Perfect Match. I'd rather not ruin my nails (I can live with a grown out manicure) if you're not supposed to mix different product lines. I've never used a product like Perfect Match before so your help is appreciated!
@Eepman: To soak it off you don't need a special product, just a small bottle of pure acetone which you can find anywhere for less than 1 dollar/euro/pound:), cotton pads, aluminium foil, and a (wooden) curticle stick. You cut the foil in pieces that are big enough to wrap around your fingertips, and you cut the cotton pads in half. Apply acetone to the cotton pads, place on your nail, and wrap the foil around. Now leave to soak for 10-15 minutes. When you remove the wrap you'll see the gel has "broken", and you can easily remove it with a cuticle stick! If there's still a little gel left you can put the wrap back on, and wait another few minutes.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAfter the gel is removed you can use a 3- or 4 way shine buffer to make your nails look healthy and shiny again! Hope this helped! :)
@Eepman: I forgot to mention you should slightly buff the gel before applying the wrap!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenhi!
BeantwoordenVerwijderencan you recommend a salon in amsterdam for soak off gel mani/pedi?
thanks!
@one lucky girl: I'm not from Amsterdam,so I can't recommend any salon in particular, sorry!(plus, I'm a nail tech, so I don't need to visit salons:D) XO
